Michael Ahuja

Michael is a technology executive with a proven track record of success in implementing transformational IT solutions. As a Founding Partner at Anoteros, Michael serves as an advisor to clients and senior leadership teams on all aspects of IT including technology strategy, data management solutions, product evaluations, and strategic sourcing.

Prior to founding Anoteros, he served as Deputy CIO for the Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY), where he was responsible for setting IT strategy and providing vision and leadership for the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems across all lines of business. Prior to VNSNY, Michael worked as a management consultant, implementing IT solutions for Fortune 500 clients across numerous industries.

Michael has served as a member of the Business Operations and IT Committee for OneCity Health, a leading Performing Provider System (PPS) under the New York State DSRIP program. He was also an official mentor for the New York Digital Health Accelerator, a program for early and growth-stage digital health companies.

After achieving a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Michael moved with his wife Shama to NYC, to start their careers and their family. In 2008 he received an MBA from Columbia University. As a longtime fan of theater, if he hadn’t found engineering, Michael would have pursued a career as a playwright – instead, he’s thrilled to now support the performing arts as a board member of the New Light Theater Project in New York’s Washington Heights neighborhood. He also loves supporting his two daughters develop their talent in the performing arts – both have studied classical Indian dance for years.
