Michael is a technology executive with a proven track record of success in implementing transformational IT solutions. As a Founding Partner at Anoteros, Michael serves as an advisor to clients and senior leadership teams on all aspects of IT including technology strategy, data management solutions, product evaluations, and strategic sourcing.
Prior to founding Anoteros, he served as Deputy CIO for the Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY), where he was responsible for setting IT strategy and providing vision and leadership for the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems across all lines of business. Prior to VNSNY, Michael worked as a management consultant, implementing IT solutions for Fortune 500 clients across numerous industries.
Michael has served as a member of the Business Operations and IT Committee for OneCity Health, a leading Performing Provider System (PPS) under the New York State DSRIP program. He was also an official mentor for the New York Digital Health Accelerator, a program for early and growth-stage digital health companies.
After achieving a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Michael moved with his wife Shama to NYC, to start their careers and their family. In 2008 he received an MBA from Columbia University. As a longtime fan of theater, if he hadn’t found engineering, Michael would have pursued a career as a playwright – instead, he’s thrilled to now support the performing arts as a board member of the New Light Theater Project in New York’s Washington Heights neighborhood. He also loves supporting his two daughters develop their talent in the performing arts – both have studied classical Indian dance for years.
Sankar is a technology leader with more than two decades of experience in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT solutions in healthcare payer and provider organizations. He has worked across all aspects of IT and is a leading expert in large-scale care management transformations.
From an early career in application development, data analytics, and systems integration, Sankar became a recognized leader in healthcare IT. Before founding Anoteros, he was Director of IT-Business Partnerships for the Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY), one of the largest New York State Medicaid and Medicare managed care organizations. In that role, Sankar implemented several transformational IT projects that contributed to the financial turnaround of the health plan. He also led the rollout of VNSNY’s Health Information Exchange program that connected VNSNY to other payer and provider organizations in New York. With Anoteros, Sankar has led several successful GuidingCare care management platform implementations for community-based and national payers.
Sankar achieved a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering from the Madurai Kamaraj University in India. He is a published author and writes fiction and non-fiction in Tamil and English. Sankar and his husband Tom split their time between New Jersey and Florida. An optimist who appreciates every opportunity, Sankar believes strongly in building relationships and in leading by serving.
Dion is an avid information system and cybersecurity practitioner with 20+ years of experience solving problems, driving business outcomes, and helping communities. Dion started his journey protecting and defending enterprise systems and remained on the technical track, working across the technology, financial, life sciences, non-profit, and healthcare industries. Prior to Anoteros, Dion spearheaded multiple transformational IT projects designing and implementing secure systems, networks, and both on-premise and cloud-based data centers.
Dion obtained his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix with a concentration in Information Systems Security and Networking Technology. He is a credentialed Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Systems Certified Security Practitioner (SCCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer, and a SASE Certified Network Professional.
In his personal time, Dion enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three kids, while dedicating focus time for learning, fitness, and mindfulness
Elizabeth Woodard is a strategic healthcare leader with more than two decades of experience spanning behavioral health, managed care operations, and healthcare technology. She holds a Master’s in Counseling, an MBA, and professional licensure as both an LPC and LCMHC.
Elizabeth began her career in clinical practice, providing direct care and leading multidisciplinary teams within behavioral health and utilization management programs. Her early leadership roles at Magellan Health in both CM and UM deepened her understanding of payer operations, regulatory compliance, and the realities of care delivery across diverse populations.
In 2019, Elizabeth joined HealthEdge as a Clinical Subject Matter Expert, guiding payer clients through implementations of the GuidingCare® platform and translating complex UM, CM, and A&G workflows into efficient, audit-ready solutions. She later served as Director of Product Management at Vital Data Technology, where she led strategy and development for an enterprise-level utilization management platform that supported scalable, compliant, and user-centered operations.
At Anoteros, Elizabeth leads healthcare IT implementations, workflow optimization, and AI-driven automation initiatives for payer organizations. She brings a rare combination of clinical insight, operational depth, and product strategy expertise—helping clients bridge the gap between clinical operations and technology while driving measurable outcomes and regulatory excellence.
Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys exploring the mountains of Western North Carolina, sewing, supporting her favorite NFL team, and spending time with her two cats.
Gemma joined Anoteros after a decade working with global FTSE100 companies in management consulting and a decade in executive roles at healthcare and other non-profits. As the former Chief of Staff at Brooklyn Defender Services, Chief Operating Officer at START Treatment & Recovery Centers, and VP Operations at VNSNY CHOICE, she is experienced both in healthcare provider and payer operations and all aspects of nonprofit administration.
Gemma uses her passion for operational excellence to help her clients achieve transformation across all aspects of their operating models, from strategic planning to complex implementations, and through changes in organization design, process, and technology. Gemma deeply believes that all success comes from people and centers that perspective in her work by also providing executive coaching to support leaders to grow their confidence and reach their potential.
Outside of work Gemma is usually found singing with her local community choir, stacking shelves at her neighborhood food co-op, or hiking – either in the nearby state parks or further afield: she has visited, hiked, and camped on all seven continents, and counts finishing (and surviving) the ten-day high-altitude Huayhuash trek in Peru as one of her proudest personal achievements
Mohan is an experienced technology consultant with significant experience in business analysis and project management through all stages of the IT project lifecycle. Having worked extensively with healthcare, pharmaceutical, and non-profit organizations, he possesses in-depth operational, regulatory, and functional knowledge of clinical information systems, specializing in workflow optimization, care management, utilization management, appeals and grievances, value-based performance management, and home health aide services. His holistic approach to serving clients, expert grasp of digital technologies, deep domain expertise, and can-do attitude helps our clients consistently achieve and exceed their business goals time and again.
Prior to Anoteros, Mohan was a consultant with Intone Networks where he worked with both provider and payer clients and successfully led multiple system upgrades and new electronic medical record implementations. His talent as a systems thinker was discovered at a young age when he worked in his family’s retail store and was constantly finding ways to improve things. He complemented this natural business analysis skill with a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, Master’s in Pharmaceutical Administration, and an MBA in Information Technology.
When not mapping processes and coordinating major implementations, Mohan loves spending time with his wife, Anitha, and son, Eshaan, eating ice cream, traveling, trying different cuisines, and playing cricket.
Nisha Nair is a strategic healthcare technology and value-based care leader with over 20 years of experience driving digital transformation, AI innovation, and operational excellence across payer and provider ecosystems. She began her career in healthcare consulting and technology, implementing large-scale payer systems and leading modernization initiatives, including ICD-10 readiness and claims engine migrations, establishing a strong foundation in healthcare operations and compliance.
Over the years, Nisha has led technology and value-based care implementations at organizations including HealthEdge, Vital Data Technology, and multiple Blue Cross Blue Shield and UnitedHealth Group entities. She has built scalable delivery processes, optimized workflows, and enabled effective population health management. Her expertise spans AI-driven automation, care management and utilization management solutions, and strategic advisory for executives, all with a focus on driving measurable outcomes, operational efficiency, and innovation.
Currently at Anoteros, Nisha directs strategic implementations of the GuidingCare platform, leads AI automation initiatives for prior authorization and member assessment workflows, and serves as a trusted advisor to payer clients, aligning technology and operations with value-based care and digital transformation goals. She is recognized for building high-performing teams, mentoring global resources, and delivering client-focused solutions that impact millions of members.
Sherry is a seasoned healthcare professional with nearly two decades of experience spanning clinical care, managed care operations, and systems integration. Her journey began in Georgetown, Delaware, where she earned her LPN in 2007 and quickly advanced her clinical training, obtaining her RN licensure by 2009 through Delaware Technical and Community College. She spent her early years in skilled rehabilitation centers and later served as a cardiovascular nurse at Beebe Hospital in Lewes, Delaware, building a strong foundation in patient-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration.
In 2012, Sherry transitioned into Managed Care with UnitedHealthcare, supporting Delaware’s LTSS Medicaid population. She led care management initiatives for elderly and disabled members, driving outcomes through wellness promotion, early intervention, transitional care, and post-discharge education. Her leadership emphasized continuity of care and reduction of avoidable readmissions—principles that continue to guide her work today.
Sherry joined Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware in 2017, where she held multiple roles within the care management department, including her favorite: LTSS Care Management Senior Staff Trainer. During this time, she earned her LBSW, complementing her clinical expertise with a deeper understanding of social determinants and member advocacy. Known for her adaptability and systems fluency, she was recruited into a Business Systems Analyst role, bridging clinical operations with IT to optimize workflows, integrate new platforms, and support cross-functional teams.
Today at Anoteros, Sherry brings her strategic lens to care management innovation—designing scalable workflows, aligning teams around value-based care goals, and translating complex requirements into actionable frameworks. Her work supports operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and member empowerment across diverse populations.
Outside of work, Sherry enjoys wildlife photography, birding, rose gardening, and spending time with her miniature schnauzers. She’s been with her high school sweetheart for 31 years, and together they’ve raised two amazing daughters.
